So, imagine my excitement when “T” began to show me outfits she had in mind for her session….I am a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan…come on…I’m from Texas, and I’ve even named my dog “Romo”…so yea…HUGE! She held up her husband’s jersey, and it took everything in me not to squeal with too much excitement! Her husband is deployed, and according to “T” would never in a million years expect her to do anything like this, so we had a lot of fun with this session!

Remember when you were young and in love, and he was all you could ever think about? Then the reality hit that he didn’t quite belong to you, he belongs to a bigger entity called the US Military. That’s how this sweet girl is learning the ropes of her young marriage. With him deployed to a far away land, while she tends to the home and life without him. Hang in there “S”…the life isn’t terrible once you’re used to it, and while you may spend more nights without him, you realize how proud of him you are when he is there, and you wouldn’t trade those small moments with him for anything in the world.

You’d never guess it by looking at her session, but the gorgeous Cera thought she wasn’t cut out for “sexy” portraits. I told her the moment I saw her that she was wrong! Isn’t she STUNNING? I absolutely loved the way her make-up looked and she was so confident in herself, even despite the “flaws” she felt she had. I saw no flaws, just a simply beautiful mommy and Army wife!
